Our Loft Apartment is unusual in layout. It sleeps 4 in comfort; 5 or even 6 is possible under some circumstances.

It has a double bed on a raised, screened platform in the main open plan space and a cosy separate twin room up in the roof. There is also a single settee-bed in the main open plan seating area, and we can also provide a comfortable folding bed.

The lounge area has a wood-burning stove (as well as central heating), TV/video and CD radio, and the kitchen is equipped to the highest level, with gas cooker/oven, fridgefreezer, microwave, toaster etc..

A spacious bathroom has bath with shower over and sizeable airing cupboard. Quality bed linen, towels etc. for at least 4 are included. A travel cot, high chair, toys, videos and games are all available to make your packing and journeying easier. Clothes washing by arrangement in main house. Just let us know what you need, and we'll do our best to provide it.

Excellent evening meals (in the main house) and packed lunches are normally available @ 24hrs notice. Fresh organic local produce is used wherever possible.

Please let us know any special requirements (eg. special food, non-feather pillows, etc.) on booking.

As the apartment is up 2 flights of stairs it is unsuitable for dogs and please note that we are a no smoking household.

If you want to relax outside, loungers are available for the triangular deck overlooking the old mill pond with its ducks, fish and other wildlife. You are welcome to bring food and drink etc. from the apartment, and we have a large dining table on the patio in the summer. If you have a rod you might even catch your supper!
