It is not necessary to have a car to enjoy your stay here. We are happy to collect you from local Bus and Train Stations on arrival, and there are good public transport links. Local buses stop right outside the neighbouring mill building, and the nearest railway station is only a couple of miles away in Mytholmroyd. Even day out in York is easy on the train. Of course, if you enjoy walking, we have some of the best hill and lane walking in the country right here on our doorstep.

Within a short distance by car, bus or train, you will find a wealth of attractions and entertainment in the area, as well as good eating. Below we have listed a few which we have enjoyed ourselves, along with a note of roughly how long it takes to get there. We will add to these lists over time. We try to keep the apartment stocked with up to date leaflets to browse through. Please don't be afraid to ask our advice on best routes, seasonal opening times, or anything else to save time which you would rather spend enjoying yourselves while you are here.
