Dyane 4x4 body panels - preparation Careful attention was paid to any paint bubbling on panel edges, and all corrosion removed. Although the removeable panels were not fully stripped to bare metal, all the vulnerable areas were brush treated with epoxy prior to being re-sprayed. I had to make small repairs to the drainage recesses in the front door window apertures. I also fabricated new hinge tubes on the bonnet, but the tailgate hinges were in fairly good condition. The rectangular hole in the top of the tailgate frame was later to prove very useful for routing wiring inside the frame to a high-level brake light. . | ||
